St. Sophia?  Sophia means wisdom, but I don't have any excess of that.  Arg, my strange brain...  Anyway, I'm still sewing.  Now instead of clothes I am sewing a quilt and little quilted wall hanging.

I think my health is better.  Well, physically it is.  Mentally I'm not hallucinating anymore at any rate, or manic, or whatever (lol) but my brain is slipping into a fog.  I can't recall things even one second after I think it sometimes.  And I can't come up with words.  And I'm forgetting how to spell words I once knew.  I'd be pleased if every unhappy memory goes away and I can have the eternal sunshine of the spotless mind.

And  my Aunt Norma is very ill  :( which makes me saaaaaaadddddd).  Life is such a kick in the head.  When Dean Martin sang that, it was a happy song.  I wish I was Dean Martin.

I sponsored my girl in Ethiopia because her situation was somewhat like mine had been....she was orphaned. But her situation differed in that she had been orphaned in babyhood and raised by her grandparents, who she still lives with and who she now cares for. And, she is halfway around the world in a developing nation that I don't speak the language of.

She's 20 now. She is in the tenth grade. She's not a great student and I don't see her qualifying to go to college. I will sponsor her as long as I can, which seems to be 22 years of age in Ethiopia. Then what?

I won't be able to help her. I don't know if she will find employment. I suppose she will continue to live with her grandparents as long as they live.
